2004 ford mustang: 3.9 v6 starts..stalls..gas pedal..fuel pressure

Resolved Question:

2004 ford mustang 3.9 v6 starts then stalls cold no codes stored KOEO or KOER or any pending or memory codes, did replace cylinder head temp switch couple weeks back when that code was stored and fixed problem for awhile, problem happens around 0 to -10 will stay running if you hold gas pedal at a higher idle for a couple minutes then will idle by its self only has 58000 miles fuel pressure 35/36 running holds 34/35 although have not checked pressure after sitting outside overnite cold, have scanned it cold ECT reads couple degrees off outside temp IAT reads same, tp at 1.02v full scales to 4.76v MAF 8.62 (gm/s) MAF (v) 0.78 all read at idle IAC (%) 40 AT 763 RPM all read on snap on solus pro scanner any ideas would be great thanksCustomer

Sounds like your IAC valve is sticking, the data for this pid is only what computer commands not what actually happens with the valve.

You can but like i sad what you watching is only what pcm wants to do with it not what the valve is doing,From your description sounds like sticking valve.
