Can you check to see if the rear brake lights are working when you step on the brake pedal?

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
no they do not work

Thats what i wanted to hear! You are going to need to replace the Brake Light Switch. This switch controls both the rear brake lights and the shift interlock. This switch is located at the top of the brake pedal arm, under the driver's side dash.
