looking for a vaccumn lines diagram for a 1999 F150 4.2L the one under the hood is no longer there
Optional Information: Year : 1999Make : FordModel: F150Engine: 4.2L Already Tried: Engine light is on (1) found vaccumn leak in hose repaired reset light after driving for 35 miles engine light came back on got codes PO171 and PO174 (2)replaced air filter cleared codes after 45 miles engine light came back on with same trouble codes. (3)Replaced fuel filter with the same results. (4) had fuel injector system cleaned cleared trouble codes after 150 miles engine light came back on. (5)cleared trouble codes again drove 130 miles stopped gotout of vehicle when i got back in andstarted motor engine light came back on with same trouble codes PO171 and PO174. i feel like i have another vaccumn leak is why i am looking for a vaccunm lines diagram

is there a diagram that shows exact locations on the4.2L motor. Also do you fill like that the trouble codes are indicating another vaccumn leak in the lines are what is your suggestion
I do not have a "picture" with that sort of detail. Some common leak points are the PCV hose being collapsed. Follow the hose from the PCV valve all the way back to the engine. Make sure it's not sucked flat and split anywhere. THis is very common on almost all ford engines. Another potential leak point is the intake manifold gaskets and what's called the isolator bolts. The Isolator bolts attach the upper intake manifold to the lower intake manifold and have seals on them that can go bad. You can attempt to determine if the intake gasket is the cause by spraying carburetor cleaner around the intake and listening for the engine to respond. Further diagnosis will require the use of a full function scan tool with data stream capabilities. thanks and I hope this helps.
