1990 Ford E-150 Ignition switch actuator rod to ignition lock

This answer was rated:

1990 Ford E-150 Ignition switch actuator rod to ignition lock cylinder drive gear actuator has broken. I have a replacement, but how do you remove the tilt mechanism out of the way to install it?

HiCustomer

Thank you for asking your question on JustAnswer.

Yes this is a common failure and the tilt is removed by pulling the pins on each side of the mechanism. There is a great link that will walk you thru each step.
