Hello,

 

First did you actually replace the shift motor/transfer case motor or did you do something else?

 

What does the light do when you press the switch, anything?

removed shift motor bench-tested shift motor- ok. no current to shift motor replaced relay module light don't illuminate when switch is rotated

If the shift motor does not know where it is in terms of where it is sitting inside the motor then it will not shift and the switch will not light up, try tapping on the shift motor with a hammer while another person trys to get it into 4x4 and see if it then works.

tried that no effect. Remember no power to shift motor

no power to switch it is a reostat rotator switch 4 hi, 4lo blinks about 5 times when key is on
