F350: 6.0 powerstroke running hot when down

I have a f350 question. 6.0 powerstroke running hot when towing, runs normal temp when not towing, dosent seem to be using any coolent. when it dose start to heat up its when I am drawing power, seems to cool down when not drawing power. dose anyone have any ideas on what is cuasing this?
