yea from what I can tell it's coming from the driver side cylinder head. the ticking used to go away when i revved the engine. now it's constant no matter what rpm. the VIN is
THIS HAS BECOME A HUGE ISSUE WITH POOR QUALITY AFTER MARKET OIL FILTERS THAT ARE BEING USED IN THE INDEPENDANT SHOPS. YOU MAY HAVE A CAM PHAZER NOISE AS WELL.

Fram and Purolator are after market, Mobil 1 is great stuff, but I have seen the aftermarket filters fail over a period of time. It is not just "1 " filter that fails, it happens over time. Who knows what the first owner did as well???? Maybe stretched the oil change intervals??? Yes, the cam if starving for oil is also suspect.
