HelloCustomer/p>

The anti theft module is located in the left rear cargo area behind the removeable cover for the tire jack. If you look at the front of the opening you will see a yellowish looking module mounted on an angle with two connectors, disconnect them both and retest. It is bad and will need to be replaced but is very expensive usually around 400 dollars

if i disconnect it will it make the car not start?

yes or you can lock the doors manually by pushing them down. The problem is if you lock them with the remote or door switch the lock input wire is activated telling the system to arm. It can be as little as a few minutes or a few hours before it will go off. When you push them down manually it will not activate the system or if you disconnect it it will kill the remotes but the power locks will still work with the switch, Its up to you
