Probably Both please just to cover all the bases. The vehicle wont start and the key / switch just spins all the way around and is sloppy.

Need instructions on cylinder and switch replacement. Keywswitch spins 360 degrees and vehicle wont start.
Expert:  John Mc replied 7 years ago.

If the key is spinning around then you need the key cylinder instructions. The ignition switch is an electrical part that wouldn't cause your symptoms. You probably have a broken end on your key cylinder.

Is there any pictures available from tech manual that depicts your instructions?
Expert:  John Mc replied 7 years ago.

no this is straight out of the 95 shop manual, here is a procedure out of a 98 manual, same column, same parts. Just a different truck ;)
