2007 ford edge. roaring sound (whining) in rear. Not all wheel drive. increases with speed. when you go over a dip and unload the rear end, it changes in pitch.

HiCustomerthis is lostrider, the concern your having is a fairly common one, the rear wheel bearings are the cause for your concern, need to raise the rear of the truck and spin the wheels and listen for the noise to determine the bad bearing, hope this helps.
