ok, i will send the procedure from the shop manual, the belt has an automatic tensioner, so there is no adjustment.
WARNING: USE CAUTION WHEN REMOVING OR INSTALLING DRIVE BELT TO MAKE SURE THAT TOOL DOES NOT SLIP.
Using a 15 mm socket or wrench attached on drive belt tensioner pulley bolt. Rotate drive belt tensioner (6B209) clockwise to remove drive belt from pulleys.
Disconnect battery ground cable . Refer to Section 14-01.
Disconnect wire harness attachments to the generator .
Remove drive belt . Refer to Section 03-05.
Remove three attaching bolts and generator .
Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
Tighten bolts to 40-55 Nm (30-41 lb-ft).
so I just need to turn the drive belt tensioner pulley and what it loosens? Taking it off was not a problem but there is at least a 3 cm difference between where the belt is and the top of the generator pulley
