The diagram isn't correct. This is a 5.0 HO 8-cylinder engine. The P/S is on the Top Right, below it is the C/S then the Main is in the lower center. The W/P is right above. The Alt is on the top Left and the the tension is to the right if the alt. Please Help.

HiCustomer

Does the car have A/C?

Customer: replied 8 years ago.
Yes it is a 5.0 HO in a 1995 Ford Mustang GT 8-cylinder. It has Power Steering and A/C.
Expert:  Shawn replied 8 years ago.

HiCustomer

Was it sold in the U.S.?

Customer: replied 8 years ago.

I think so. I bought the car 1 month ago. If you would like to speak with me direct my cell phone number is XXXXX

Expert:  Shawn replied 8 years ago.

HiCustomer

Ford has been using the same belt routing for years I have an 88 Mustang with a 5.0 and am using the same belt routing. Unless you have some European or possibly Mexican design.

Customer: replied 8 years ago.
The diagram that was sent to me shows the A/C on top right then P/S below it. My P/S is top right with the A/C below it. When I try to re-install thge belt that I just took off, I have too much play in it. I'm pretty sure that this is a US auto. The manuals say Ford Motor Co, Detroit MI.

HiCustomer

is there any way that you can telephone me so that i may explain this to you? The 1985 diagram is not correct. I am sure that this is a stock US 5.0 HO motor with the power steering hub directly above the A/c on the right side. (looking from the front of the vehicle). My number is XXXXX

the belt routing i just sent is the routing for the 94 95 mustang. it is different than the earlier fox bodies. i have a 95 and this is the routing i have.

HiCustomer

What is 8th digit the VIN?

Customer: replied 8 years ago.
No none of the diagrams that you sent is the one that I need. Thank you for trying but I will have to call my mechanic. How do I go about being credited the $30.00 for my question?
Expert:  Shawn replied 8 years ago.

HiCustomer

What is the 8th digit of the VIN? Is the car there?

Customer: replied 8 years ago.

Of course the car is here. I have been trying every diagram that you sent me. The eighth digit of the VIN is 'T'.

Expert:  Shawn replied 8 years ago.

HiCustomer

Customer: replied 8 years ago.
How come it took so long for you to send me THIS diagram?????
Expert:  Shawn replied 8 years ago.
So that was it then?
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
This is still NOT correct. It looks like the belt goes over the P/S then to the A/C then up & around the IDL to up & around the W/P to the AP the the TENS and around the GEN back to the IDL. I appreciate you trying to help but at this point I would like a refund regarding my question. Thank you for trying.
Expert:  Shawn replied 8 years ago.

Hi dennis,

In that last comment are you referring to the diagram or your car?

Customer: replied 8 years ago.
I wish you would call my cell phone at XXX-XXX-XXXX. I am referring to how the physical layout of the motor is. The belt has a 104" length that is the order of the components physically on the motor. At this point I feel we are just giong back and forth. I would really like to just be refunded the $$ regarding my question. Once again, Thank you for trying, but nothing you sent is working.
