The easiest way is to remove the passenger side wheel, inner fenderwell and axle

 

  • Remove or disconnect the following:
    • Negative battery cable
    • Right side intermediate axle shaft
    • Right side splash shield and retainers
    • Drive belt
    • Alternator electrical connectors
    • Alternator. Torque the mounting and adjusting bolts to 35 ft. lbs. (48Nm).
