How do I fix the obd2 code p2285 injector pressure sensor low?
Optional Information: 2003 Ford F- 25o 6.0 diesel Already Tried: nothing just tested it on obd2 checker and has the code of p2285 injector sensor pressure low
Well there is a couple of options here.
One you can just replace the Injection Control Pressure Sensor as this could be bad.
Two: Your Injection Pressure Regulator might be failing therefore you need to replace the Injection Pressure Regulator.
What is the KOEO voltage read?
I dont know what a koeo is or how to check it. how hard are those to replace and does it really need to go to the dealership?
KOEO means key on engine off, does your scan tool have access to parameter identification data? I really don't advise just throwing parts at a vehicle.
yes thats how we scanned it with the key turned forward and engine off.
I need to know what icp voltage is on your scan tool. perhaps you don't understand what I am asking for. I am asking for a parameter that is accessed through the data link connector & is read by diagnostic equipment.
I dont know I can check it again and get back with you tomorrow. Does ford have an obligation to reprogram this since they have had so many problems on these engines?
If your vehicle is still under your diesel warranty, then you will pay a $100 deduct for repairs. If your vehicle is out of warranty, then repairs are paid by the customer.
