The fan clutch is left hand thread.Turn clockwise to loosen.There are special tools to hold the pulley and loosen the nut.I have also used an air hammer to loosen.a couple sharp hits usually does it.Do you need the whole procedure for the pump?

Ok, here you go....Also on the 3.0L you can also use a plumbing strap wrench to hold the pulley.
