After the wheels and drums are removed, place a flat blade screwdriver where the red arrow is pointing to and pry apart, you will see and hear the adjuster moving, just do a couple clicks at a time. Place drum over the shoes and spin you will want to have the shoes barely touching the drum. Brake drum should spin freely.

I did that but the shoes never adjust enough for rear wheel to stop. The rear wheel keep turning when brakes are fully applied.

Hi ford kt,


Either drums have been over machine and the shoes are not making contact or the shoes were not installed properly, the only other adjustment is the parking brake cable, and i do not suggest messing with that. Check and make sure everything is in it's proper place.
