my ford ranger has code p1506 showing , what is the main thing i should look for to fix this problem?
Optional Information: 1999 Ford ranger xlt 2.5 liter 4 cyl Already Tried: changed iac valve

99 ford ranger 2.5 lit. 4 cyl.
Customer The first thing I would do is look for any air leaks between the air box and throttle body, any vacuum leaks especially from the intake to the PCV valve the rubber hoses are known to deteriorate and cause leaks. Check all the vacuum lines. If this does not help we can dig in deeper, most times it is just a simple vacuum or air leak. Let me know, Al
say i dont find any leaks what would you suggest?
