Customer Question

How do you remove the lower radiator hose and install a new one on a 1999 Ford Expedition? There is no regular clamp on the radiator connection, only some sort of round band. I have never seen a radiator hose like this.

Hello and welcome to justanswer.com

You need to pry the lock then twist the hose off. Here is a pic and instructions.

1Pry the locking tab up and out of the slot.
2Rotate the lower radiator hose.
3Disconnect and remove the lower radiator hose.
