Where is the fuel filter on a 2003 ford explorer?

The fuel filter is located under the vehicle right next to the fuel tank towards the front of the vehicle. There is a plastic cover with 2 bolts that needs to be removed in order to acess the fuel filter. It will be difficult to change if you do not have a lift to work under.

Is it insde a long retangular plastic box? If so, it appears the drive shaft must be removed just to change the fuel filter.
