Customer Question

How do I remove the inner door panel on my Ford Windstar SE, so that I can install a new mirror? I have the outer panel off, and the mirror unscrewed and hanging, but need to get to the wire and plug for the mirror.

Hello, Thanks for the PDF on the door panel; however, I am working on the passenger side mirror at the moment (I have to replace both) and I cannot figure out where the plug is for the mirror; I have the panel off and the mirror hanging by its wire, but cannot find the plug. It appears to be either further inside the door or perhaps down under the dash?

Its on the door follow the wire back once you have the door panel off.procedure same for either front door.
