  • Squeeks over bumps or in turns?
  • 4x4 or 4x2?
  • Did they say what the component was which was the source of the noise?

thanks Chris, I may have asked before I got all the info you may need, funny thing is it makes the noise when I go slow in normal driving, sometimes I can go over a good bump and hear nothing, if I try and push car up and down when parked nothing
Don't remember the name however they said there were no grease fittings in them and had to be replaced

This could be the upper or lower ball joints or the tie rod ends. Lower ball joints are the common wear item. Yes new parts will be needed but a ball joint which fits in the palm of your hand is not a front end. Sounds like they blew there terminology a little out of porportion.

Here are components which can make noise.
