2006 Ford: you change the Temperature control sensor..located under

how do you change the Temperature control sensor on a 2006 Ford Fusion? I was told by the dealer who diagnosed that the part was located under the dash.

1. the ac will work for a few minutes then won't blow cold air anymore, just blows air.

In-Vehicle Temperature Sensor

Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the lower steering column shroud screws.
  1. Remove the lower steering column shroud.
  1. Disconnect the in-vehicle temperature sensor electrical connector.
  1. Remove the in-vehicle temperature sensor.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
