That depends on if there is any in it at the moment. If there is none in it you will need 34 ounces or R134A refrigerant. If there is some in it there really is no way of knowing how much for sure without recovering what is in the system. If you are someone who does this quite a bit you can usually tell by looking at the pressures on the gauges and using a scale to see how much is going in.
