interior plastic..rear seat..pictures or diagrams..back together

Customer Question

All interior plastic is out excluding the dash. I need to remove the rear seat to install carpet. do You have pictures or diagrams to help me put interior back together, as I did not remove it. I can handle door panels I need trim and console. I will accept any portion of this with the rear seat removal Thanks, David

Is this a crew cab , reg cab or extended cab. I can get you what you need but it may take a little bit.

This is an extended cab. The rear seat is holding up at this point does it fold down?
As I said the doors are no problem the console and trim such as headliner Thanks David

If you just need to remove the seat to replace the carpet you can get away with removing the nuts and bolts holding the seat bottom to the floor and then left the seat up. Here is an exploded view.

Removal and Installation

All vehicles

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait at least one minute. For additional information, refer to Section 414-01.
  1. If equipped, remove the rear entertainment system. For additional information, refer to Section 415-00.
  1. If equipped with a single overhead console, remove the overhead console. If equipped with a modular overhead console, remove the modular components. For additional information, refer to Section 501-12.
  1. Remove the A-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to A-Pillar Trim Panel in this section.
  1. Remove the B-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to B-Pillar Trim Panel - Regular Cab, B-Pillar Trim Panel - SuperCab or B-Pillar Trim Panel - SuperCrew in this section.
  1. If equipped, remove the C-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to C-Pillar Trim Panel in this section.
  1. Disconnect the rear electrical connector.
  1. Remove the LH and RH sun visor retaining screws.
  1. Remove the LH and RH sun visor retaining clips.
  1. Remove the sun visors.
    • If equipped, disconnect the electrical connectors.
  1. Disconnect the interior mirror electrical connector.
  1. If equipped, remove the roof opening panel trim.
  1. Remove the 2 coat hooks.
  1. If equipped, remove the 2 headliner pin-type retainers.
  1. If equipped, remove the 4 modular overhead console track screws.

  1. Position the headliner aside.
  1. Remove the rear window glass. For additional information, refer to Section 501-11.
  1. Remove the headliner.
    • Remove the headliner through the rear window glass opening

Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the 3 floor trim panel push pins.
  1. Remove the 2 floor trim panels.
  1. Remove the shifter trim panel.
  1. Disconnect the shifter cable.
  1. Disconnect the floor console electrical connector.
  1. Remove the 4 floor console bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
  1. Remove the floor console.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
