2001 ford Taurus: radiator fans..relays..voltage at the relay coil

Resolved Question:

I have a 2001 ford Taurus and both radiator fans have quit. I have replaced both relays for the fans no help. I check for voltage at the relay coil and had it on one. also had the 14v to the common but still no good. Can both fans go out at once or maybe 1 went out then the other before i knew it?

Yes both fans can fail.

Here is the wire diagram split into 3 pages so you can test the fans manually for operation and so you can see where your signal is not makeing it or where it is lost.

can you tell me how to make sure if the fan motors are ok?

Dis connect the connectors individually and use jumper wires directly to the battery

RD/OR is hot and black is ground
