I receive OBD-II error code P2195 (sensor stuck lean Bank ...

Customer Question

I receive OBD-II error code P2195 (sensor stuck lean Bank 1, sensor 1) and P0133 pending (Sensor ckt slow response Bank 1, Sensor 1) on my 2004 Taurus with 21,000 miles. Shouldn''t this sensor last a little longer? Are there other problems such as the injector problems, leaks, etc. that would give me these error codes?

Hello the senser is switching trying to calibrate for either a vacume leak or fuel preasure. There is a possibility that you might have a bad senser but I would check all of your vacume hoses for leaks also check the pcv hose for deterioration or if the hose is collapsing. Also if you can get me your vin number I believe that there might be a pcm programming update for this concern.

I have posted below some of your vehicle specific info. These are tsbs from Ford. You more than likely have an update for you pcm that only a ford dealer can do. There is a chance that just the update could fix the concern. Thats only if you dont have any vacume leaks or a damaged senser.
