  • Partially drain the cooling system.
  • Remove the upper radiator hose

    1. Remove the water thermostat and paper gasket assembly.

    1Remove the bolts.
    2Remove the water outlet connection.
    3Remove the water thermostat and paper gasket assembly

    1. Install the water thermostat.

    1Align the (A) notch in the (B) water thermostat and paper gasket assembly with the recess in the (C) water outlet connection.
    2Position the (A) water outlet connection on the (B) lower intake manifold.
    3Install the bolts.

    1. Connect the upper radiator hose.
    2. Fill the cooling system.
