i have a ford freestar 2004 fuel pump driver module fuse keeps blowing changed the fuel pump still the same any suggestions or where can i get a diagram to follow the wiring
hello vip, what fuse number is XXXXX and wich fuse box?
fuse number 47 15Amps
does it pop as soon as you put one in or while you are driving?
as soon as i put it in even if i disconect the fuel pump it still blows
In the right rear of your van access the fuel inertia switch and disconect it and then install a fuse.do you have a test light or a dvom?Thomas39450.7864681713
yes have both i can try that where is the exact location of the inertia switch
Remove the jack access cover on the RH side interior rear quarter trim panel
unplugg it first and then install a fuse .this way we can shorten down the suspected harness short.
i will try that thx for the fast response
No problem if it still blows the fuse than pull the fuel pump relay and try another fuse.
did disconect inertia switch and did not blow the fuse should i change the switch itself or continu diagnostic
did plug inertia switch back and unpluged the driver module of the fuel pump located on the pilar on the driver side fuse did not blow
changed the fuel pump module and problem solved thx for your helo
I'm glad i could help. if you need any more assistance let me know.
