I have a 2003 Ford Focus with an OBDII code of PO750, shift solenoid malf, what part needs replacing?
Optional Information: 2003 Ford FocusAlready Tried: checking fluid and reading code
This problem deals with the ssa solenoid. The ssa solenoid means Shift solenoid A. This solenoid is used to allow for the car to shift properly. Here is a blow up of the soleniods as they are located. Note SSA. This is the solenoid that you will be needing. The failure is a circut failure usually caused by a faulty winding in the solenoid.
It will take somewhere around 2 hours to change. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would prefer a second opinion. Good luck!
