What cause a rough shift in an automatic transmission in the first two gears. When initially accellerating there is a jerk and then another quick jerk.

Are you getting any trans codes?

I assume you have already had an overhaul since some components were replaced?

Are the only shift concerns 1-2

Yes I am getting a code, I is a gear with an explaination in thr center. I see this when the cruise control is on, at high speed.

There has been an overhaul.

1 & 2 are the only gear I am having trouble with.

I need to know if you have pulled codes with a scan tool. if not auto zone will do this for free.

Moose The computer was hooked up to a coder reader after thr sensor was replaced and everything seemed okay. But since then the gear that I mentioned reoccurred.

This is going to be yet again an internal concern. Associated with seals or friction plates. I am not leaning towards a solenoid as your concern.
