You need to raise the front of the vehicle and

  1. Remove the tires.
  2. calipers
  3. caliper brackets
  4. remove tie rod ends from the knuckle
  5. remove the 4x4 hub
  6. remove the hub and rotor
  7. remove the axleshaft
  8. now remove the upper and lower ball joint nuts
  9. remove the knuckle
  10. use a press to remove and install the joints.
