spark plug change

Each spark plug on this vehicle has it's own coil attached above it held on with one bolt.

It's pretty simple really... remove the bolt holding the coil in place... unplug the electrical connector.. slide the coil up off of the spark plug.. and then access the plug using a standard spark plug socket (5/8" or 16mm) and an extension.

Make sure you inspect the coil boot for any traces of arcing (looks for gray/black spots or lines across the boot) and if you find any replace this boot as well. These do no snap in place like traditional plug wires.. it should reinstall easily and flush against the coil mounting surface. Also be very careful tightening the coil bolt back as it is a small bolt and these break easily.. it doesn't require very much torque at all (maybe the amount of torque you could get out of a screwdriver).

Good luck!
