I would next check the brake switch on the brake master cylinder under the hood. Ford has a recall for this concern. Let me know what you find.
If that is the cause yes. If you give me the VIN# XXXXX can check to see if your truck is on the list.
Here is the recall # XXXXX yes your truck is involved. But, you need to make sure that this is causing your fuse to pop. Just unplug the switch at the master cylinder and see if that stops popping the fuse. If it does not, then that is not it. But I still would go to the dealer to have this recall done, because of a possible fire.
Let me know if by unplugging the switch if it stops blowing the fuse.
Yes it is possible, but I really think the switch at the master is probably your concern.

The other wires are for the brake fluid level. I would get the recall done to get that out of the way first, and it is free!
