2001 ford explorer: Sport Trac..loud roaring noise..front end..louder

Resolved Question:

My 2001 Ford Explor. Sport Trac has a loud roaring noise in the front end. It will get louder as you speed up but will not make the noise when you are turning curves at a driving speed rate. Does this sound like a wheel bearing or something else. This is aXXXXXvehicle and it has been making this noise for several weeks.

This sounds like you have a front wheel bearing bad it will load to one side and this will make it louder. You should raise the front of the truck up and manually spin the tires you should hear or feel through the fender a roughness on the side that the bearing that is bad.
