bad window switch or bad window regulator.can you hear the motor run in the door

Reply to mrrowland1's Post: the motor does not run in the door - just a click from under the dash. no click when rolling down the RH front window. Sounds like it is coming from the front electronic module box

i would pull both door switches.take a test light and check power at both switches.the right door switch recieves power thru the master switch on the lh door.sounds like you have a bad switch or a bad right side window motor motor.

LH front window does not roll down, switch clicks
RH front window operates properly

you mentioned that the rh window receives power from the master switch on the left side. Not sure what that means, they have seperate fuses?

i appologize.i thought rh not functioning.ok pull the left hand door switch and take a test light and check the following pins for power.push switch down and check for power at pin #3.hit the auto down and check for power at pin #4.hit the up button and check pin #7 for power.if the switch checks out,go down to the fem module.check pins # XXXXX & #3 while working the switch.should have power one way then the other while working the switch.if that checks, you have abad window motor.if not,the fem module is bad.fem is locted just under the dash to the left of the steering column.connectors or component will have pin numbers on them.
