Battery light and check charging system light intermittent
JA: Have you tested the battery? Have you tried testing the alternator?
Customer: both tested good at autozone
JA: What is the model/year of your Lincoln?
Customer: 2003 navigator
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: changed the battery terminal connectors, could it be the fusible link between alternator and battery?
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: unplugged the pcm and replugged it back in light stayed off for a while, then came back on later

Hello, this is caused by failing diodes causing voltage fluctuations in the system. It will eventually get worse until the vehicle won't charge at all anymore.
