Press button and it turns over for 0ne second and stops before starting.

The problem you are having is a known concern and providing your new battery is fully charged this could very well be a programming concern with the PCM (computer). Ford has released a service bulletin dealing with this issue as well. I have enclosed the bulletin in the link below for your review. Have a look and see if this could be the problem you are having.
