My 2012 MKZ makes a pulsing humming sound at freeway speeds

Customer Question

My 2012 MKZ makes a pulsing humming sound at freeway speeds - i.e. 45-70 mph. Don't think it's tire noise. Maybe wheel bearings?
JA: How old are the tires? And have they been a problem in the past?
Customer: No past history. Bought the pre-owned last March. Think the tires are OE
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I'm too old to do a fix. Just want to know how to describe to service writer
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: car just turned 50K miles

Hi, my name is ***** ***** is most likely a bad wheel bearing, and is common, when its making the noise, if you turn slightly to the left or right, does the noise change?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Havn't really noticed?

if you can swerve either direction, and the noise changes, then its going to be a bad wheel bearing ,Tim
