Hello and welcome. My name is ***** ***** you for visiting the site.

Does it get to the vent position? Any sounds at all from the motor?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
The moon roof opens completely, but when I try to close it, it gets to about an inch of closing and the motor just hums and it refuses to close.

Do both sides seem to be closing in unison?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
The roof gets to within inch of closing and then the motor hums and the roof will go no further

Have you checked for anything foreign in the guides blocking movement? You either have guide issues, the motor may have failed, or possibly a cable issue. If nothing foreign can be seen blocking movement then it's going to require some disassembly, possibly removing the headliner and sunroof assembly, to determine what is going on.
