Hi, 2008 MKZ, car started, shut it off, will not restart. Turns over fine, runs 2-3 seconds, shuts off. Has gas, battery good, any ideas?

Do you have the ability to check for trouble codes in the PCM (Engine Computer)? Any repair shop will do this first as todays cars, trouble codes are part of diagnosing and repairing vehicles like yours.It may be a fuel pump causing the problem, but the trouble codes will pin point the problem for us.
