1999 Lincoln town car, no cooling fan operation have tested

Customer Question

1999 Lincoln town car, no cooling fan operation have tested fuses relays and fan all good. If I bypass the relays both high or low fan runs good. Could this be a bad sensor not detecting engine temp.

Hello and welcome. My name is ***** ***** you for visiting the site. . In some applications of the 4.6L engine, the Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) sensor provides the signal used by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) in place of the Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS) for functions such as, but not limited to, activating the electric cooling fans..Do you see a yellow/light green and a gray/red wires running under the intake manifold?
