Lincoln MKX: 2011 Lincoln MKX does not start all the time when

2011 Lincoln MKX does not start all the time when pushing start button. Battery good and batteries good in key fobs. Does not happen all the time just occasionally. Any suggestions as to what the problem is caused by?

Hello, with the concern and warning message you have. Your issue is with the shifter not seeing the vehicle is in park even though it is. The solution is to replace the gear shifter assembly.

I had that replaced just last year so I don't think that is the problem because when that was happening it said please shift to park. That is ok thanks for your time I will take it back to where I bought it

I still think it's the same. The warning is for vehicle safety. The only way to find out what code is being set when this happens is to,test for codes in the instrument cluster.
