2004 Lincoln Navigator My air ride down all four corners air

Customer Question

2004 Lincoln Navigator
My air ride down all four corners
air suspension dash light warning on
found relay,in engine compartment near compressor (location changed in 2003 from behind Pass fog light) jumped out power connections on relay plug, the compressor running but not inflating air bags
Four female pins on relay connector,
no ground continuity on low side of switch
low side 12v on power ok
highside 12v on power ok
high side ground continuity ok, jumped hi side compressor ran ok but not inflating suspension
concluded it needs a signal to operate solenoids to accept air
Check Ride heigh sensor on front seem ok for free movement
Previously replaced both front airbags and struts complete aftermarket (west star)which was quite straight forward, I also at the install stage checked the ride height sensors for full movement
After diagnosing pass side front down occasionally and a slight air leak from it when stopped
however the old units held their air for 2months after replacing which leads me to thinking my original diagnosis may have been incorrect and the detected leak may of been self levelling of vehicle
I seem to be missing a ground at the compressor relay
could this be:-
the module under dash?
faulty air ride sensor?
Door lock sensor ?
Do I need a ford Lincoln Dianostic scan?
I think it is OBD2 compliant however cannot read parameters in real time or adjust with OBD@

Hi there, Paul.

Thinking you've already made sure the air suspension switch is in the ON position, your best bet here is to find a shop with a WDS scan tool to find out why the compressor is not being commanded on by the module. We can proceed with any repairs once we have that information.

Best Regards.
