on my 2012 lincoln nav all of a sudden it say no gps and no sat radio to

To diagnose this concern thesystem needs to be tested with a IDS tester to check for trouble codes and make sure the network and modules are responding.

You could try disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes then recheck to see if maybe a module has locked or frozen, just like when you reboot a computer. When you disconnect the battery it clears all the codes, so if you have a warranty on it, you might just leave it alone until the system can be tested for trouble codes.

I would say since both navigation and satellite functions are inop I would be looking at the satellite antenna first.

This test look like it would take forever, however, basically you test the satellite antenna and if it tests good, you jump to k18, problem still present, then replace the ACM, audio control module, or radio. So either antenna or ACM basically.
