First check fuse #2 in the dash fuse box. Then make sure you have power into the brake pedal position switch and then out on the pink wire at the switch with the brake pedal depressed. You may have just a bad brake pedal position switch under the dash.

where do i find the fuse box in the dash?
Expert:  A. Penland replied 1 year ago.

It is up under the drivers side of the dash to the far left.

we can't find it this a 2010 Lincoln MKZ
Expert:  A. Penland replied 1 year ago.

The Mercury Milan, Ford Fusion and the Lincoln MKZ are all basically the same platform in 2010. The fuse box is under the dash to the left of the steering column on the drivers side.

this one does not have a fuse box on the dash theres one in the engine
Expert:  A. Penland replied 1 year ago.

Yes it does. You will have to remove the cover for the fuses. You will have to look under the dash to the far left on the drivers side. Ford has tucked it up under the dash and made it really fun to access.

It looks like the one below.
