Chuck :

This is most likely caused by the drain in the cowl where wiper linkage is, has become stopped up with leaves or debris. This then lets the water back up and over flow the fresh air vent door on the right side of the cowl.

Chuck :

The seal around the fresh air door may also be bad.

Chuck :

Remove the wiper arms and then the cowl covers, then look at the very center of the housing where the wiper pivot arms are and there is a drain located there.Make sure it is clear of devris.

Customer :

the cowl cover on the passenger side has two screws , they are missing, which is very loose. Is that a problem coulld that cause leakege?

Chuck :

Well if it is the cover itself it shouldn't now if it is the cover over the fresh air door under the cowl cover then yes
