Hello and Thank you for choosing Just Answer. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be the Lincoln Expert assisting you today.

  • Have you tried jump starting the vehicle or have you had the battery tested?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
I had a battery charger put on the battery.... but only for a short time
Expert:  CTLincolnTech replied 5 years ago.
From your description it sounds like a weak battery with possibly a bad cell inside. When a battery does not have enough voltage to power up the electronics in the vehicle, it will get confused because it does not know whether to power up or not which is why you are hearing the clicking. I would recommend you have the battery tested first.

I'm going to get a battery charger and see what happens.

Sounds good, Let me know what you come up with. But you do have to be careful, Like I said, if a battery has a bad cell, it still may not start even after charging.

Ok, I would the fuse box on the passanger side where you here the buzzing noise. I would recommend removing all connectors one by one and making sure the go back in good in tight make sure there was no losse connections. If not, there have been some problems with the fuse panels going bad and needing to be replaced. They cannot be replaced on your own as they need to be programmed to the vehicle.
