its a large project the intake needs to be removed

Removal

  1. Drain the engine cooling system.
  2. Remove the intake manifold.

 



 

  1. Remove the nuts and remove the bracket.

 



 

  1. Remove the stud bolts.

  1. Disconnect the lower radiator hose from the thermostat housing.

  1. Remove the thermostat housing cover.

  1. Remove the water thermostat.

  1. Disconnect the hoses.
  2. Remove the coolant outlet pipe.

  1. Remove the four bolts and the thermostat housing.

Installation

  1. NOTE: Clean all the sealing surfaces, and inspect the O-ring seals thoroughly.

To install reverse the removal procedure.
