The 530 will not start,and the fan does not work either.

the 530 will not start,and the fan does not work either. Don't know what the stop key is, or where the safety key is?
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: proform 530, bought it used, have no idea how old it is
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: worked fine 2 weeks ago, then i turned on and the lights come on but the keys do not change when pushed
JA: Anything else you want the equipment expert to know before I connect you?

The safety key for your treadmill model will need to be inserted into its slot, for the treadmill to run. The safety key looks like this :

One end clips to your clothing, the other end must be inserted into its slot in the console, before the treadmill will move or react to controls.

Check the power connections, of course, and turn the treadmill Off for 10 seconds, then On again, with its power switch near where the power cord goes into the treadmill.

Look there for another button or switch. There might be a breaker.
