My Intrepid i300 treadmill worked great for 4 or 5 months

Customer Question

my Intrepid i300 treadmill worked great for 4 or 5 months and I walked at a 3.5 mph pace. Now, it if exceed about 2.2 mph, the belt will stop suddenly and I get a E2 error. The belt is lubricated properly so I do not think that is the problem. No one in Abilene, TX, works on these things and mind is pass the 90 day warranty. Help!!
JA: What's the exact make and model of the treadmill?
Customer: Intrepid i300 from Academy
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I am not an electrician so NONE
JA: The electronics expert can solve this for you. Anything else you want him to know before I connect you two?
Customer: no, thank you

Hi there,

The E2 error code means that the console is not receiving any information from the speed sensor.

If the belt is turning ok before you get this error then the speed sensor may need adjusting or else it is faulty or disconnected.
